The Timberwolves were led by Anthony Edwards' 21 points, but they were unable to keep up with the Nuggets' high-powered offense.
The Nuggets took control of the game in the first quarter, outscoring the Timberwolves 34-18. Denver continued to build on their lead in the second quarter, taking a 60-38 advantage into halftime.
